As the only certifying body that offers UKAS accredited certification for people who work in explosive atmospheres, being CompEx certified sanctions the expertise of those providing ATEX services \u2013 something which Woodward Group now provides.<\/p>\n<p>ATEX governs how equipment and workplaces in explosive environments must be managed. Dust, gases or vapours can be found in the air of many workplaces. Should these materials ignite, it could cause an explosion, which may result in serious injury to workers. ATEX aims to eliminate the risk of this happening.<\/p>\n<p>Having CompEx accreditation has allowed Woodward Group to extend our ATEX service offering to new and existing customers. We now deliver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.woodwardgroup.net\/atex\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ATEX<\/a> design, installation, commission and servicing, with the CompEx accreditation providing our customers with further peace of mind that their sites are safe in our hands.<\/p>\n<h5>Projects underway<\/h5>\n<p>With this new accreditation under our belts, Woodward Group has already undertaken ATEX projects for two national companies. Both customers have subsequently confirmed the go-ahead of additional ATEX work in the future.
